Join

You can join the U3A at any time during the term times. However, we also have registration days where you can come along and sign up up for the full year or just a term. Application forms will be available for you to complete on the day or you can download a form from this site and have the details ready. Your contact details are needed for group leaders to keep you informed about your groups and for the management committee to send you news letters informing you of changes and up coming events. If you are unable to attend a registration day you can still hand in a completed form to some group leaders or to a committee member after contacting them to arrange this. They may give you a temporary receipt so you can join any other other groups you chose until you get your membership card; the membership secretary can issue you with a membership card straight away. You should show this to your group leaders. If you are joining for one specific activity please confirm with the leader that a place is available for you as we do not offer refunds.

Membership requires you to accept a Liability Disclaimer which reads: I hereby acknowledge that my participation in the Association Of Learning For Pleasure is undertaken at my own risk and that neither the Association or Group Leaders are responsible for any injuries, mishaps or losses however and whenever occasioned. I also understand that my photograph may be included in articles and information published on the U3A website, Facebook page or Newsletter.
